❶ ABOUT THIS FORUM ; GENERAL RULES
↘ OVERALL: All Rules apply here as well, excluding sexually explicit material and yaoi restrictions.
↘ WHAT TO POST: your own fanfictions, poems, lyrics, or someone else's translated fanfiction. This can be about any band, and in ENGLISH.
↘ CREDITING: if you are translating someone's work into English, please make sure you have permission to do so.
↘ PLAGIARIZING: We do not accept any form of plagiarizing. Stories must be of your own imagination, and no one else's. If any plagiarized text (regardless of the type) is found, access to the Book Shelf will be forbidden for the person found plagiarizing.
↘ WARNINGS: always warn readers about possibly offensive or upsetting content (for example: yaoi, sexually explicit scenes, abuse, character death, etc.) You can write detailed notes at the top of your topic informing the reader of such things.
➋ COMMENTING, REPLYING, & POSTING/COMPLETING NEW FICS
↘ COMMENTS: please comment on other people's stories as well and encourage them to write more. Do not bash each other's writings, give constructive criticism, or don't post a comment at all. Comments must be well thought out, and relevant to the story.
↘ REPLYING TO COMMENTS: you are allowed to reply to reader's comments, but please try to reply in a batch of comments, in order to prevent the thread from being too cluttered with comments and replies. YOU CANNOT DOUBLE POST WHEN REPLYING.
↘ NO SPAMMING: Spamming in the Book Shelf is a constantly occurring event. Saying something like, "Keep Updating!" or "I love your story!" is all spam. Spamming three times will earn you a warning, please abide by these rules. Thank you!
↘ COMPACT POSTING: if you have many writings to post, do it in the span of a few days. You are allowed to start only one topic per day. If two topics are started by the same person, within twenty-four hours, the second topic will be set invisible until twenty four hours have passed.
↘ POSTING: always post on-going stories under the same thread. Do not make new topics for individual parts of one story (e.g. part 1, part 2, etc...). Only post new topics if it's a completely irrelevant and unrelated story from past topics you have started.
↘ STARTING A NEW FIC: if you have started a new fic, please reply to this thread, using the given format.
↘ COMPLETED FICS: please include the word ' Completed ' in parenthesis next to your topic title if your work has been completed, in addition, leave a reply in this thread.
